Membership

Serve.
Organize.
Lead with values.

Membership is a commitment to dharma in action: serve with discipline, organise with care and lead by example.

Why join

An invitation to take responsibility.

Before you are asked for any details, here is what membership means: a chance to serve, and a duty to serve well.

Spiritual service

Anchor everyday life in dharma. Membership is an opportunity to practise devotion through selfless, disciplined seva, alongside people who share the same values.

Your part Bring sincerity, humility and regular practice to every act of service.

Local community impact

Seva begins close to home. Members help local teams organise camps, drives and festivals, and look after the people and places of their own neighbourhood.

Your part Show up reliably, work with your local team and protect the community's trust.

Youth leadership & organisation

Learn how to plan, coordinate and lead. Members can take on defined roles, work within committees and grow into responsibility step by step.

Your part Lead by example, respect the structure and guide those who join after you.

How membership works

Four steps. One clear path.

From the first read to the first seva — what to expect, in plain words.

  1. Understand

Read about the Sena's purpose, structure and code of conduct, so you know what membership asks of you.

  2. Apply

Complete the membership form with accurate details and confirm that you accept the expectations.

  3. Verification

Your application is reviewed, and a coordinator may contact you to confirm details and answer questions.

  4. Participate

Take part in the seva, events and committees you are assigned to or choose to support, in line with the code of conduct.

Expectations

Code of conduct.

Membership carries responsibility. These expectations protect the culture, safety and credibility of the Sena — and of every member.

Treat every person with dignity, whatever their background, belief or position. Speak and act with courtesy, online and offline.

Follow the guidance of your coordinators, keep your commitments and represent the Sena with a calm, orderly presence.

No violence, threats, intimidation or abuse — in words, writing or action. Disagreements are settled through dialogue and the proper channels.

Respect the law of the land in every activity. Do not take part in, or encourage, anything unlawful.

Do not collect money, or speak or act on behalf of Hanuman Sena, unless you have been properly authorised to do so.

Handle the personal information of members and the people we serve with care. Share it only as needed for Sena activities and never misuse it.

Arrive prepared, follow the event plan and safety instructions, keep spaces clean and show respect to places of worship.
